At U.S. Hunger, we are building a team of part-time employees who travel across the country to help lead and coordinate meal packing events that have so far provided over 150 million meals to local communities. What You Will Do
In this part-time (PRN) role you are able to make your own schedule. When working, you will be responsible for ensuring successful, engaging, and impactful events all across the country for our partners and volunteers. If traveling across the country, learning the events business, engaging with volunteers, and fighting hunger gets you excited, this position may be right for you! Some of the activities involved include :
- Connecting with clients and volunteers ensuring excellent customer service during our Hunger Projects
- Educating volunteers about U.S. Hunger and out initiatives
- Coordinating and facilitating Hunger Project event setup and breakdown
- Ensuring food safety guidelines are followed
- Hours of work depend on the availability and location of projects as well as your schedule. We do not guarantee a set number of hours each week or month.
