Job Summary
US Hybrid is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Downey, CA.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient, high-quality designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in product lifecycle management (PLM), CAD tools, mechanical analysis, and have a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret project requirements and collaborate with engineers to develop mechanical designs.
- Create, evaluate, and refine prototypes of mechanical systems.
- Develop detailed CAD drawings, models, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve design challenges and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Perform physical testing and validation of prototypes and final designs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Work Environment
