Seeking a Website Developer that would receive a redesigned site that is scalable to the degree that new content and programs could easily be integrated into the existing design. The site will reside in a secure and easily manageable CMS
Duties:
The primary services required for the successful implementation of this project include:
• The development of a new website that is based on a template provided by AUTHORIZED USER, adheres to web standards and requirements, and features an intuitive CMS for making content edits.
• The transition from one website to another at the domain
• Training for board and program staff on using the chosen CMS
• (If needed) Training for the agency’s Data division on best practices regarding server-side configuration, database management and security protocols.
Qualifications
Word Press or Drupal content management systems (CMS) in a windows environment with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
The Designer would need some experience with configuration of a CMS. They will also need experience designing and deploying web sites that meets Virginia’s Web Site standards and IT accessibility standards. They should have some experience creating pages that access a database for dynamic content pages.
