Role Overview:
LaSalle Investment Management is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager with a background in real estate or investment management and technology to help maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their systems and processes. This position will sit between the business users and the engineering team and play a key role in implementing and supporting technology initiatives. This role requires in depth knowledge of investment data, a solid technology foundation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and working knowledge of effective project management practices.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the LaSalle business users to understand user needs, document requirements and acceptance criteria.
Develop a prioritized delivery roadmap, identify technology solutions, and take end to end ownership of business value delivery.
Translate business requirements into data and reporting requirements that will inform user stories for the delivery team to build the data foundation and front-end user interface.
Gather business rules, data and unstructured information from multiple sources and systems, critically evaluating it and reconciling conflicts in requirements.
Work with the JLL Technology Delivery Team closely, to communicate requirements clearly to developers and testers, ensure all business-related queries are resolved and support with any functional testing as needed.
Analyze LaSalle data and content sources to document data definitions, determine value source mapping and support the creation of a business glossary/data dictionary.
Work with the business and technology team to verify the accuracy and completeness of data and document business rules for data cleansing.
Be a continuous champion and marketer of LaSalle's transformation goals, and communicate progress to both senior management and the broader business stakeholder group.
Required Skills & Experience:
At least 8 years of demonstrable experience in a business analysis role in Investment Management or Real Estate domain.
Understanding of research, investment performance and data science concepts.
Extensive experience working with business stakeholders to understand user needs, document requirements and translate them into a prioritized product roadmap
Experience in writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience with projects implementing enterprise data platforms, analytics and business intelligence solutions or ETL/data transformation processes is a plus
Able to communicate complex technical issues in a non-technical manner to business users.
A proven ability to multi-task and a self-starter mentality with good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in CRM Portals and Marketing Technology is preferred
Strong preference for experience with CRM & Investor Portal software in investment management
Strong preference for experience working with functions such as Investor Relations or Marketing for institutional investors
Estimated total compensation for this position:
175,000.00 – 210,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
