Power Teams Coordinator (Fire) - Houston, TX

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Teams Coordinator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will work closely with the Field Project Manager to manage project milestones, financial oversight, procurement, and scheduling to ensure timely, cost-effective project completion while acting as the first line of communication with customers and "our customer's best service provider." As a Teams Coordinator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Establish project milestones and analyze costs; Exposure to financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine the impact on the project; adjust or correct project plan and/or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
• Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and subcontractors necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of the project within budget.
• Provide project financial oversight; including but not limited to, forecasting revenue, monthly invoicing, cash flow, and budget vs cost reviews (WIP reviews).
• Proactively communicate project schedules, project change proposals, and related project activities regularly with customers and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction
• Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and subcontractors necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of the project within budget.
• Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
• Act as “our customer’s best service provider” by providing timely updates on projects, quickly addressing concerns, and by regularly seeking feedback on our performance.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
