Job Purpose : Compiles and maintains accounts payable records. Responsible for all payments of goods / services necessary for basic operation of company. Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Process invoices into computer for proper record keeping, ensures company payment terms are adhered to at all times.
  • Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
  • Process check requests and tax payments with all necessary approvals.
  • Approve expense reports as necessary
  • Answers all vendor inquiries.
  • Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
  • Assists AP Supervisor and other personnel as necessary.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
  • Performs filing / copying / scanning and other duties as assigned
  • Communicates with coworkers, management, clients, vendors, etc. in a courteous and professional manner
  • Conforms to ALL regulations, policies, procedures and instructions
  • Conforms to all safety rules and regulations; use appropriate equipment
  • Performs any other duties as required and assigned. Experience / Training : Associate degree; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months or more related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Competencies : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
