CNC Programmer / Operator

Responsibilities :
- Work from complex prints to program and machine parts of various materials (primarily stainless steel and common plastics) on our Haas vertical mills and Mazak CNC turning centers.
- Set and adjust work / tool offsets as necessary.
- Independently select and set up tooling and fixtures / jaws.
- Monitor the run of parts in the cycle and after completion to ensure that specifications and tolerances are met.
- Be proficient in using and understanding all ordinary machine shop measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, ID / OD micrometers, etc.
- Train and mentor peers, when necessary
- Other duties as required by the Production Manager
