Inside Salesperson (Aerial Equipment Rental)

USM ReRents is the leading aerial construction equipment re-rental company in the North America, supplying large boom lifts, compact atrium crawlers and heavy-capacity telehandlers to large equipment rental yards / companies throughout the US and Canada (who, in turn, rent these machines to the end user - most often a construction contractor). High demand for specialized rental equipment (and for USM ReRents expanding equipment fleet) spurs our active search for an Inside Salesperson.
The Inside Salesperson is responsible for establishing new customer relationships and for further developing & strengthening partnerships with existing customers as well. This requires a seasoned, professional inside salesperson to effectively and efficiently respond to inquiries from national, regional and local construction equipment rental companies across the states to re-rent from USM's aerial lift fleet. The Inside Salesperson works closely with our Rental Coordinators, Fleet Service professionals, and the Sales team.
Role & Responsibilities
As a vital member of a fun, motivated team led by our National Sales Manager, the Inside Salesperson develops new rental business, supports & expands existing rental partnerships, and provides for annual sales growth by maximizing of our rental assets' utilization.
- Source and build relationships with new rental customers
- Further develop and strengthen existing relationship with rental customers
- Grow monthly rental revenue by driving wholesale re-rental business
- Educate customers on specialized equipment uses, applications, operation and USM rental and contract process
- Consistently maintain records of sales activity in company CRM (Pipedrive)
- Foster a collaborative work environment by communicating frequently, effectively and respectfully with rental coordinators, fleet service specialists, equipment repair technicians and the sales team
Minimum Requirements
USM has an in-office work culture and is located in Elmhurst, IL. Very infrequent travel to industry conferences (at most, once per year).
