Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work 4 days per week with school age students starting in January 2025. Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:
- Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
- Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
- Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
- Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
- Travel may be required throughout the school day.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited OT/OTA educational program.
- Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant License
- Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
