This is a full-time on-site role for a Loan Officer located in Saratoga County, NY. The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of loan applications for individuals or businesses. Daily tasks include assessing client's financial status, reviewing loan agreements, and ensuring all documents comply with regulations. The Loan Officer will also provide guidance to clients throughout the loan process and maintain communication with real estate agents, attorneys, and other industry professionals.
- Experience in loan origination, loan processing, and risk assessment
- Knowledge of mortgage products, lending laws, and regulations
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency with mortgage technology and software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in the mortgage or financial industry is a plus
- Licensing as required by state and federal regulations
