U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive. In this position, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strengths and skills to help people make smart decisions in their everyday lives. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive (Travel Category) to join our Advertising Sales team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our Travel related advertising partnerships within U.S.News Travel, our endemic travel platform. For over 14 years, U.S. News Travel has provided expert advice content, impartial travel guides and rankings to help consumers make their best travel decisions.
Are you up to the challenge?
- Build, oversee and expand a strategic account list, focusing on travel advertisers and agencies.
- Generate a high volume of sales-related activity, including : cold calling, setting up meetings, securing RFPs, and entertaining clients
- Attend industry conferences to connect with key clients at scale and expand relationships
- Prospect, research and craft outreaches to secure meetings and RFPs
- Foster strategic relationships with clients, gaining an in-depth understanding of their business needs and challenges
- Manage client communication, from the first outreach to the RFP process, to leading client meetings and post-campaigns follow-ups.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams, including client success, strategy, marketing, product, ad ops and finance.
- Become a subject matter expert on the U.S. News brand, audience and solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and needs
- Track performance as it relates to monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals
