Virginia Oncology Associates (VOA) is the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders. Virginia Oncology's staff is immersed in an innovative work environment where new ideas, collaborative efforts, and quality execution are recognized and appreciated. We are currently seeking a Retail Pharmacy Manager to oversee and manage three physician owned retail pharmacies in the area.

Retail Pharmacy Manager - Predictive Index Assessment
Responsibilities
- Administer oral oncolytic medications and provide patient support.
- Oversee and lead a team of 19 staff members, including Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Oral Authorization Specialists.
- Secure and oversee insurance contracts.
- Conduct insurance audits.
- Prepare limited compounds tailored for cancer patients as required.
- Resolve issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must possess a current Pharmacist license in the state of Virginia
- At least 5 years experience as a registered pharmacist
- Prior supervisory/management experience preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a pharmacy with I.V. skills
- Oncology experience preferred
- PharmD preferred or equivalent experience
- Must be willing and able to travel to all VOA sites
