Responsibilities
- Gracefully handle all incoming calls, connecting them to the right departments.
- Promptly relay messages, especially those of urgency, to clinical teams.
- Manage patient appointments with precision, ensuring their scheduling needs are met.
- Keep a watchful eye on scheduling voicemails, confirming or arranging appointments.
- Maintain provider schedules and respond to appointment alerts efficiently.
- Master the in-house paging system and manage conference call setups.
- Provide assistance and resolve issues related to our telephone systems.
- Uphold a professional and supportive environment for every caller.
- Perform clerical duties to keep our operations smooth and effective.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of office experience, ideally in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and scheduling systems.
- Experience in reception, scheduling, or telephone operations is a huge plus.
- Outstanding communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Travel between locations as necessary.
