Position located in the Purchase, NY office until first week in August. - USTA Westchester Office - 3 to 4 In-Person Days a Week
The role works at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, NY - August 1 through September 12th
The Role
Assist the Merchandising Department with Various Administrative Tasks
- Assist with US Open RL & Generic Staff Clothing Program Distribution.
- Assist with US Open Hospitality Merchandise Program Distribution.
- Assist with On-Site Gifting Requests, including pulling, packaging, and distributing items.
- Count and maintain internal inventory both on-site and at off-site storage locations.
- Work alongside the Director, Merchandise & US Open Merchandise Concessionaire to ensure retail displays maintain presentation quality.
- Assist with US Open E-Commerce Photoshoot, including requesting samples, booking rooms, coordinating vendor access, cataloging and returning samples.
Who You Are
- Must be capable to work at the USTA Purchase, NY office and the National Tennis Center located in Queens during the US Open
- Capable of moving of boxes and some physical exertion
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Pleasant manner, teamwork attitude
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills
The expected range for the base salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
