Store Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Store Clerk to join our team. The Store Clerk will be responsible for assisting wholesale and retail customers, handling daily transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers
• Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and tidy store by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
• Demonstrate product features to customers during product demos
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries
• Upsell products to customers to increase sales
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient checkout processes

Qualifications

• Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions and providing change
• Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions accurately
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
• Knowledge of product demonstrations to showcase merchandise effectively
• Capability to stock shelves and maintain store organization
• Aptitude for upselling products to enhance sales revenue

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
