Job Summary:
You will be responsible for delivering mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle. This will involve providing customers with various services, including mail collection and delivery. You will also sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route and receive and sign for accountable mail.
Additional responsibilities include loading mail into your vehicle, delivering it to customers along the prescribed route, and collecting monies and receipts for accountable mail. You will also pick up mail from roadside boxes and return undelivered mail to the post office.
