- Loading packages in delivery sequence in your vehicle
- Delivering packages to customers along a prescribed route
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for your assigned route
- Receiving and signing for accountable mail
- Loading mail and packages in your vehicle
- Delivering mail and packages to customers along a prescribed route or as an auxiliary assistant by a vehicle
- Collecting monies and receipts for accountable mail
- Picking up mail from roadside boxes
- Furnishing routine information concerning postal matters to customers
- Returning mail collected, undelivered mail, and submitting monies and receipts to the post office
- Preparing appropriate time records
- Providing for mail security at all times
