At the US Postal Service, we're looking for a Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and sales support at a retail window.
You will be responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory of retail products, including stamps, stamped paper, and other items. You'll also use a computerized system to accept and deliver packages and accountable mail, issue and cash foreign and domestic postal money orders, and respond to customer claims and inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide product and service information to customers, including informing them about special offers. They should also be able to suggestively sell merchandise and promote products based on customer needs.
