What are the responsibilities and job description for the USPS Mail Carrier position at US Postal Service?
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to fill the role of USPS Mail Carrier. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for loading packages in delivery sequence in vehicle, distributing mail and packages along a prescribed route, sorting mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route, receiving and signing for accountable mail, and collecting monies and receipts for accountable mail.
You will also be required to pick up mail from roadside boxes, furnish routine information concerning postal matters to customer, return mail collected, undelivered mail, and submit monies and receipts to post office, prepare appropriate time records, and provide for mail security at all times.
