The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the US Signal internal Network infrastructure. This position can work Remote or Hybrid.
Functions / Responsibilities :
Competencies :
- Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) for Internal infrastructure
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and proactively recommend and implement solutions to improve network efficiency and anticipated business needs
- Automate routine network tasks to improve efficiency and free up time for strategic initiatives
- Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and meet compliance requirements.
- Serve as a member of the on-call rotation that provides after-hours support for urgent incidents and service requests.
- Document network configurations and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer
- Analyze new products and make recommendations for implementation
- Mentor Jr resources in Network Technologies
- Contribute to the department's continuous service improvement initiatives

Education :
An Associates Bachelor's degree in Networking, Computer Science or a similar field of study is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands :

The employee regularly communicates with customers. The employee is frequently required to move about and reach for items. The employee may occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
