We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing the successful implementation of US Signal services. These projects require the coordinated implementation of multiple US Signal products that work in conjunction with one another to deliver the final customer solution. The PM serves as the primary point of contact from the time of sale throughout the life cycle of each implementation project. The PM is responsible for managing projects in their entirety - including data/order entry, implementation, interfacing with applicable vendors and service providers and all internal departments. The PM facilitates all customer communication, timeline tracking, risk and change management, as well as budget and billing. The PM keeps orders progressing by monitoring workflow, addressing potential delays and escalating as necessary. The PM may also be assigned special projects as determined by Management.
Functions/Responsibilities:
- Act as project lead while interfacing with sales, customers and cross-functional/cross-departmental teams to facilitate a premium customer onboarding experience
- Occasional on-site visits with customers to discuss projects (this could include travel to customer sites or meeting with customers at US Signal headquarters)
- Maintain an adequate level of understanding of US Signal products and services
- Utilize various vendor software tools for order fulfillment needs
- Create and maintain a project workplan that includes a granular timeline of tasks and milestones (for internal and external resources)
- Influence and drive cohesiveness with all stakeholders of a project
- Collaborate with the project team to identify, communicate, monitor and resolve all risks and changes throughout a project to maintain established delivery timelines
- Ensure project tasks are updated daily or as needed
- Schedule cadenced status calls and any additional calls or meetings as needed to ensure timelines are being met or exceeded
- Resolve project conflicts and escalate as necessary to remain within stated delivery SLAs
- Interface with applicable departments to reconcile booked pricing of services
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of all project components
- Submit service orders to 3rd party network providers
- Responsible for helping to achieve team goals and objectives (as defined by Management)
- Produce specific (monthly, quarterly & yearly) detailed reports as necessary

Experience:
- 2 years project management experience is required
- Experience in Windows and Microsoft Office is required
- Experience with Visio is a plus
- Experience or working knowledge of the following services: Cloud, Professional and Managed Services, Security, Data Protection, Telecom and Colocation, is desired
- Familiarity with virtualization, data protection/management and security technologies
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
This position operates in a variety of environments. The majority of the time is spent in a professional office environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Required License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid, active driver’s license with a good driving record as defined by the Company’s current insurance provider.
