This includes the repair, inspection and maintaining the structural, mechanical and electronic elements of the aircraft, replacing parts, measuring wear and assessing whether parts need repair or replacement. Professional requirements are as follows :
Minimum of two (2) years’ General Aviation experience with 100-hour, annual inspections, sheet metal repairs, troubleshooting systems and replacement of parts experience is required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Airframe and Power plant license required.Positive and professional attitude.Attention to detail.General knowledge and use of hand tools.Must be able to read and understand technical manuals.Must be able to work and interact with other mechanics and supervisors in a professional manner.Familiar with firefighting and first aid equipment.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE : (Minimum Requirements)
High school degree / GED and / or some College degree from a two (2) year college or technical school preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years’ experience must be in a related field.Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging-if required for your role.SOFTWARE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.
General knowledge of the following software : Microsoft Office Programs and other software programs may be required, as needed.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal,Excellent organizational skills.Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.Additional Information

Full time position, must be flexible working weekends.Starting salary $30.00 per hour. (DOE)Health Insurance. (medical, dental and vision)401k Investment.PTO - 18 days, plus 5-Sick Days.Holidays - 9 days.Skyborne is also offering our A&P Mechanics with 1 year of service the opportunity to obtain their Private Pilot’s license. We will accommodate time and cost for you to complete ground school training, a value of $12,000.
