US Solar seeks a Senior Community Solar Subscriber Sales Representative who will play a pivotal role in driving Sunscription sales, focusing exclusively on acquiring commercial, municipal/governmental, corporate, and anchor accounts. This high-impact position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing large-scale community solar subscribers to meet aggressive growth targets, optimize portfolio revenue, and support the expansion of community solar projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional sales acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and deep knowledge of the community solar and commercial energy landscapes. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Sunscription Sales and Revenue Operations and work in partnership with the larger Sunscription team to help successfully bring more MWs of community solar savings to US Solar customers.


Key Responsibilities

· Lead direct sales efforts targeting commercial, municipal, corporate, and other anchor clients, driving Sunscription acquisitions to meet or exceed company revenue goals

· Develop and execute strategic sales plans, identifying key prospects and tailoring approaches to maximize conversion rates

· Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, regulatory authorities, sustainability officers, and other key decision-makers within target organizations

· Conduct comprehensive client needs assessments to deliver Sunscription solutions aligned with corporate sustainability goals and energy cost reduction strategies

· Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing

· Collaborate closely with marketing, legal, finance, and project development teams to streamline the sales process and ensure seamless customer onboarding

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community solar programs, regulatory landscapes, and competitive offerings to position Sunscriptions effectively in the marketplace

· Ensure all contract details and client information are accurately recorded in the Sunscription Platform to support smooth post-sale management and compliance tracking

· Provide customer support as needed to ensure a seamless client experience


Core Proficiencies

· Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the renewable energy, sustainability, or utility sectors

· Strong understanding of community solar programs, subscription models, and corporate ESG priorities

· Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and high-value contracts

· Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and execute effectively

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences

· Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative environment

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy


Requirements

· 7 years of sales experience, with a focus on large commercial, corporate, or anchor accounts; renewable energy or community solar experience preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, renewable energy, or a related field

· Ability to travel 1-2 weeks per month to target markets across the US

· Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets within complex industries

· Proficiency in CRM software, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Strong understanding of corporate sustainability goals, financial modeling, and legal contract structures
