RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions
Photography Operations
- Photograph camp attendees to document the authentic camp experience.
- Follow photography assignments provided by camp photography leadership to photograph camp activities.
- Must be able to determine the correct calibration of equipment in manual modes.
- Operates and maintains equipment such as cameras, flashes and telephoto lenses, and any other auxiliary equipment designated to complete photo tasks.
- Cleans and maintain camera equipment.
- Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence relative to the work.
- Other Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education
High school or G.E.D.
Required Experience
Work Experience: 6-12 months experience in a photography environment required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented and well-organized. Must be professional and able to work with minimal supervision. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Technical Experience: Have working knowledge of digital camera systems (Sony mirrorless preferred), various lenses, and lighting equipment. Must understand the fundamentals of the manual camera settings needed for a variety of photographic situations, including action, low-light, and full sun.
Physical Requirements
This position has the following special requirements:
- Walking and climbing (stairs) to access other departments and buildings.
- Standing for long periods (4-6 hours).
- Carrying and lifting supplies and boxes up to 25 pounds to waist height.
- Bending, kneeling, reaching to store & retrieve supplies.
- Sight, reading, wrist movements, feeling to operate computer terminal, handle documents and sort mail.
- Talking and hearing to communicate with supervisor(s), employees, guests, and trainees who interact with assigned area of responsibility.
This position involves working partially in a climate-controlled office environment and occasional long periods outdoors, as assigned. This position interacts extensively with guests and trainees & parents in person and over the telephone. This position will involve evening and weekend hours.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental Factors: Photographers will be expected to work both indoors and outdoors under a variety of weather conditions.
Expected Hours of Work: Photographers will work shifts that include either day shift (between 6:30am-3:00pm) or night shift (between 2:30-11:00) or a combination of the two. Evening and weekend availability is preferred.
