Position Opening : HEAD SQUASH PROFESSIONAL

The Philadelphia Cricket Club seeks an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Head Squash Professional.

Club & Squash Program Overview

The Philadelphia Cricket Club is one of the finest private family-oriented full-service country clubs in America. The Club is situated on two campuses : Flourtown and St. Martin’s, offering various sporting and dining facilities.

The Club's Squash program is well-regarded, catering to members' social and competitive needs with diverse programs for all levels.

Head Squash Professional Overview

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in playing and coaching squash, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

The Head Squash Professional’s primary duties include but are not limited to :

  • Report to the Club’s Director of Squash
  • Coordinate member events and internal / external leagues
  • Support the Club’s vision for delivering high-quality squash programs
  • Work cooperatively with fellow staff
  • Engage adult players and inspire new members
  • Demonstrate sportsmanship and teamwork
  • Teach daily private lessons and group clinics
  • Provide tournament preparation to members
  • Attend external US Squash junior tournaments
  • Represent the Club at local programs and leagues
  • Instruct and maintain knowledge of game rules
  • Manage the Club’s online court reservation system
