Our Jackson partner is looking for an Electrician to add to their team!
1st shift Hours : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM
3rd Shift Hours : 6 : 30 PM - 5 : 00 AM
Benefits : Dental, Medical, Retirement and Vision
Pay Range : $20-$25 / hour
Temporary to Permanent position in Jackson, MI
PPE Required : Steel Toe Boots
Job Description for the Electrician :
Be able to wire electrical panels by blueprint
Be able to wire machines, mount electrical enclosures, work with the machine build team
Be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems
Must know industrial electrical codes
Must be familiar with Allen Bradley & Siemens
Prior experience with HMI / PLC a plus
Must have your hand tools to perform the above electrical work
Possess good communication and customer relationship skill sets
Having a good mechanical aptitude for machine tools would be a plus
Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver's license
Be self-sufficient in the electrical department
Ability to work independently, with little direct supervision
Ability to perform some light field work, as required, and be self-sufficient in-field repairs
Requirements for the Electrician :
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age
Working knowledge of Personal Computer Operating Systems
Background Requirements : (No Violent 7-year Felonies)
Diploma / GED Required : Yes
Certification Required : Will Need to Show Skills
Testing / Training Needed.
Michigan DL is Required
