US Tech Force is seeking an experienced Mold Designer with expertise in PTC Creo to join a precision machine shop!
Mold Designer Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize PTC Creo to design and develop high-precision molds, dies, and tooling based on engineering specifications.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring manufacturability and design efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to refine and improve mold designs.
- Work closely with CNC programmers and machinists to ensure proper execution of mold designs.
- Modify and improve existing molds to enhance functionality and reduce production defects.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of experience in mold design within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PTC Creo for mold and tooling design (Creo Parametric experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including CNC milling, turning, and EDM.
- Experience with GD&T, blueprint reading, and material selection for molds.
