Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional phone assistance to members, providers, and other stakeholders, utilizing the criteria-based prior authorization process.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all interactions, including approvals and denials.
- Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to pharmacists as needed.
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support function, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
- Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- RI Pharmacy Technician License.
