Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of production administrative work, building sanitation, and logistic tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operations in compliance with work instructions.
- Complete production logistics by moving and transacting information through production systems.
- Perform building sanitation tasks and maintain a clean work environment.
- Prepare material for operations and/or logistical tasks.
- Interface with plant systems (e.g. document control, manufacturing execution system).
- Communicate effectively and update/maintain records as needed.
Working Conditions
Frequently lifts or moves materials up to 5 pounds. Occasionally lifts or moves materials up to 15 pounds. Rarely lifts or moves materials more than 25 pounds. Minimal exposure to disagreeable elements. Cleanroom environment prevalent. Personal protective equipment required including but not limited to safety shoes, safety glasses, and cleanroom garments (frock, gloves, facemask, etc.).
Requirements
- 1-2 years work experience.
- No manufacturing experience is required, though applicable experience in a transferrable field is desired (examples include shipping & warehouse experience).
- Experience with SAP is desired, but not required.
