Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:
The Packaging Specification Analyst is responsible for supporting the Private Brands Packaging team with data capture of Packaging Specifications within the Private Brands Specification system. This role supports supplier engagement and onboarding, creation of new records, and validation of data entry. The role prepares regular project, data and UPC tracking and progress reports so that project managers can adjust resources as necessary for total project completion.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Communicate with vendors on using the specification system platform to upload packaging specification to include details regarding material type, weights, and chemical content.
· Work with vendors within the specification system to move projects to achieve deadlines.
· Provide guidance to suppliers that are challenged with software proficiency, familiarity with packaging specifications, and materials science.
· Conducts Packaging Specification Reviews and Quality Assurance on data entry on packaging specifications on Primary, Secondary and Tertiary packaging.
Experience:
· 3-5 years’ experience
Skills:
· Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
· Ability to work independently in executing tasks
Education:
· Bachelor of Science Degree – Packaging Degree is preferred
