What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analytics Lead position at US Tech Solutions?
Duration: 6-month contract
Roles and Responsibilities:
Team is process oriented. Take requirements, help with prioritization, analyze financials.
• Supports one or more business areas to understand, analyze, and intake data requests that will drive business objectives. Assess incoming requests and create daily review report. Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering the CARES model to customers and/or internal partners.
• Understands the business problem, identifies complex issues and prepares and executes a planned approach for intake from one or more line of business initiatives.
• Serves as subject matter expert that implements best practices to meet business objectives. Determining the optimal triage approach per intake.
• Works with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy.
• Prioritize new demands within the scope of strategic priorities, using the prioritization matrix
• Coordinate with all Data Product Implementation, Production Management & Support, Tools & Platform, and Special Projects partners to review and assign demands. Follow-up on incomplete demands with requestors to enable prioritization and assignment.
• Ensure solid product definition collaborating with product owners and provide input into backlog prioritization
• Work with product owners to engage with other Portfolios/ Projects when information/ scope is not enough to make decisions
• Facilitate gathering of requirements and business impacts and outcomes.
• Align with strategic plan. Develop LOB priorities and backlog for annual budget planning.
• Work with MIS on BAU and tech currency work and other special projects to ensure a comprehensive list of work.
· Will speak IT but does not need to be very technical.
· Will be assigned to 1-2 domains, working very closely with the owners, working on requirements, who needs to be stakeholders/involved in meetings, bringing scopes together, prototype calls.
