Change Management Consultant - Business Transformation

Note: Hybrid is at least 3 days a week onsite.

Job Description:

We are seeking an individual to lead people / organizational change management across technology efforts with stakeholders in multiple business units. You will collaborate with IT product teams and business stakeholders to drive adoption. You will have the opportunity to support the adoption of technology, processes, and ways of working so we don’t just solve problems but become better problem solvers in the process. You’ll focus on the change strategy, plans, and execution to orchestrate the change experience.

Responsibilities:

• Shapes, plans, and leads change management efforts for multiple workstreams, agile teams or projects in a complex program of work.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of change management methodology (Prosci desired).
• Embeds methodology into every product and coaches and leads both practitioners and non-practitioners (stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, engagement plans, resistance management plans).
• Expert written and verbal skills can summarize complex ideas in a way that is easily understood by non-experts.
• Articulates and establishes desired outcomes and manages multi-stream metrics to demonstrate visible signs of progress towards outcomes.
• Establishes and manages change management program-level plan, covering multiple workstreams, agile teams and/or projects.
• Understands change impacts across all in-scope audiences and leads management and mitigation of impacts.
• Works closely with senior and some executive leaders (VP and above).
• Plans, designs, and delivers change management strategy and approach for multiple workstreams, agile teams and/or projects in a program of work.
• Integrates change management efforts with wider transformation efforts or initiatives as appropriate.
• Plans, designs, and delivers leadership alignment activities.
• Creates and runs stakeholder engagement activities, adapting for different audience groupings as needed.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to senior and some executive managers, peers, and more junior team members.
• Anticipates potential risks and issues and mitigates appropriately.
• Works confidently and effectively through ambiguity and leads others to deliver success despite ambiguity.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• In addition to required degree, 7 or more years related work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.
• Consulting experience.
• IT experience on large system implementations
• Experience with large-scale change initiatives
• Strategic mindset and creativity for crafting the change strategy and plans to meet enterprise needs
• Critical thinking and problem solving to clearly articulate individual’s points of resistance and find creative solutions for addressing them.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills: negotiation, conflict management skills, influencing skills, ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate a vision and obtain buy-in.
• Ability to adapt and change as business needs change.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with agile teams, approaches, and tools.
• Experience within one or more complementary disciplines such as Agile, innovation, design thinking, customer experience, digital transformation.
• Comfort with complexity, ambiguity, and change
