Job Title: Cryogenic/Super Conducting Systems RF Measurement Consultant
Location: Goleta, CA (Hybrid role)
Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:

- Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.
- This role involves rigorous design and execution of tests at room and low temperature (including cycling cryogenic systems) to verify cryogenic RF devices, including superconducting resonators and circulators, ensuring adherence to design specifications and accelerating the development of a world-leading quantum computing service.
Responsibilities:
- The individual will develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the performance and reliability of superconducting quantum processor components.
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for cryogenic RF devices, ensuring adherence to design specifications and performance targets.
- Conduct rigorous testing of superconducting resonators, circulators, and related components, analysing data to identify potential failure modes and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain standardized test protocols and procedures, promoting consistency and accuracy in RF measurement and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate verification findings into the design and development process, driving continuous improvement of cryogenic RF systems.
- Generate detailed test reports and documentation, providing clear and concise analysis of results to support design decisions and ensure device reliability.
Experience:
- Experience with RF measurement and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with cryogenic systems or superconducting devices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical documentation.
Desired Skills:
- Python or scripting language experience.
- Electronics board troubleshooting.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Salary : $90 - $110
