About the Position
US Tech Solutions is seeking an Electromechanical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of laboratory tasks and experiments focused on electrical testing and prototyping.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tasks and experiments focused on electrical testing and prototyping.
- Develop and maintain records of experiments performed.
- Making detailed observations of tests, analyzing data, and interpreting results.
- Maintain medical device laboratory equipment and inventory level of laboratory supplies.
- Document summaries of testing and may write test protocols and reports.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities.
- May be assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. product performance and software script testing).
- May support the prototyping and rework of medical devices, including mechanical and electrical activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Preferably with experience in laboratory settings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
