About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Systems Designer to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a Lead Electrical Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans and timelines to achieve project goals without sacrificing safety, intellectual property, or quality.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to document repairs/changes made to equipment and/or electrical infrastructure.
- Identify critical spare parts to have on-hand to prevent extended downtime.
- Participate in required PPA's and electrical shutdowns.
- Ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
- Work closely with union trades, subcontractors, and across all levels and organizations.
Requirements:
- BSEE or BSEET degree with a focus in electrical power and power distribution.
- Understanding of regulations applicable to area of expertise and ability to ensure compliance (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD.
- Co-Op and/or intern experience dealing with electrical infrastructure equipment and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use electrical test meters, PC's, and/or schematics to troubleshoot electrical equipment/infrastructure.
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
- Must have 2 Years Experience as an Electrical Engineer.
