About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, including working knowledge of payroll in a logistics environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain associate FMLA files, leave of absence progress, and provide status updates to management.
- Respond to and direct incoming call inquiries and reception coverage.
- Order and maintain department office supplies.
- Sort and process company mail, UPS, DHL & FedEx.
- Maintain and update filing systems.
- Review and compose responses to incoming correspondence as appropriate.
- Coordinate and participate in department meetings or conference calls, and maintain minutes of meetings.
Requirements
- 1 years' experience providing high-level administrative support, including working knowledge of payroll in a logistics environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Calendar, Live Meeting.
- Demonstrated skills relating to composing and editing business correspondence.
- Knowledge of office operations and procedures.
- Analytical ability to gather and summarize data for reports and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
