We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist - Industrial Facilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to industrial facilities, developing long-term plans and budgets to maintain and improve equipment performance, and managing capital and O&M projects.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to work with plant personnel, clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful completion of assigned projects. You will also be responsible for managing outage/project management, project budget management, long-term maintenance strategies, and technical support to the plant.
You will review and analyze system equipment failures, initiate root cause analysis studies, and communicate these needs to plant management, corporate management, and peer groups.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3-5 years' experience in an industrial facility or in support of an industrial facility with project or design focus involving the maintenance of pumps/motors, air/motor operated valves, fans, condensers, boilers, turbines, industrial electrical switchgear, circuit breakers, and transformers.
Demonstrated project management experience is required. Strong understanding of Power Plant Processes and Equipment, as well as experience in Equipment and System Performance Testing and Analysis, are desired.
The selected candidate will possess strong organizational, administrative, time management, project management, facilitation, and analytical skills. They must also be able to interface with vendors and contractors while representing the best interests of the client, network and utilize subject matter experts at both the corporate level and regional level to support plant systems, and be flexible to work across primary position boundaries by willingly accepting multiple roles as required to support plant needs.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed, and be able to be on-call for the plant for specified rotation frequencies, each occurrence being a week in length. Minimal Travel required β 10%.
