Job Title: Microbiologist
The microbiologist will be responsible for conducting routine testing of our finished products, raw materials, personnel, and environment. They will interpret results and implement quality controls in accordance with microbiological practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing and analysis to ensure product safety and quality.
- Develop and implement microbiological methods, including environmental monitoring, investigation, method transfer/validation, and equipment validation.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve microbiological issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
- 5 years of experience in a regulated product manufacturing setting, preferably in food, cosmetic, drug, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in Good Laboratory Practices, environmental monitoring, and data trending.
- Proficiency in data analysis software, such as EtQ and SAP Batch management module, LIMS, Minitab, or JMP.
- Excellent Microsoft-based computer skills in Microsoft Office to complete and update detailed reports.
