Process Development Engineer I

Duration : 06 Months Contract Job PurposeAssists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.Under direct supervision / guidance, compiles, analyzes and reports operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.This individual will need to be detail oriented. They will become a central point for material needs, testing, and prototyping for the Replacement Materials effort.This is an exploratory project - not a product specific effort Analyzing and testing new to materials part of a global effort Job responsibilities include : Collect data and observations (photos, videos, notes) during testing, and organize these for sharing with the team Emphasis on traceability, documentation, and good housekeeping Interest in material characterizationWork on new material in an exploratory environmentComfort with hands-on work, including test set up and running, sample preparation, and product building Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities : Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
