About the Role

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Test Strategies: Collaborate with design and production teams to develop comprehensive test strategies, understanding product specifications and requirements.
2. Design and Implement Test Systems: Design, develop, and implement test systems and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the manufacturing testing process, integrating testing processes into the overall production workflow.
3. Test and Troubleshoot: Perform testing activities on manufactured products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the testing phase.
4. Analyze and Report Test Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on test results and findings.
5. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to address testing requirements and challenges, participating in design reviews to provide input on testability and manufacturability.
6. Implement Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the manufacturing testing phase, implementing changes and updates to testing processes based on lessons learned and feedback.
7. Maintain Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test procedures, equipment, and results, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
8. Ensure Quality Standards: Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, collaborating with the quality assurance team to address and rectify any non-conformities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience with automated testing systems and familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies are desirable.
