Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer
Location: McLean, VA (3 Days/Week onsite from start of assignment)
Duration: 6 - 12 Months
Must Have Qualifications:
- 5 years but preference to 8 Design and Development of Applications and Web Services using JAVA, JSON/XML, Tomcat/WebLogic.
- Strong Hands-on knowledge on Spring-Boot, Angular, PostgreSQL, Rest API, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket.
Must Have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Design and Development of Applications and Web Services using JAVA, JSON/XML, Tomcat/WebLogic.
- Strong and extensive knowledge on Spring-Boot, Spring ORM, Spring Integration Technologies.
- 5 year of presentation frameworks experience - Angular or NodeJS similar frameworks, and jQuery.
- 5 years of experience on PostgreSQL Databases, SQL Server query and performance tuning.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Micro-services architecture and Docker Containers Platforms using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- 3 years of integration experience using Web Services /REST
- 3 years of experience in code delivery pipelines and adept in building Build and Deployment tools using - ANT, Unix Shell script, Maven, Gradle, ANSIBLE and Jenkins.
- Minimum of 2 years of Test automation experience leveraging Cucumber and/or Cypress
- Proven ability to use Kanban/Agile delivery practices to improve teams, quality, and reliability. Knowledge or experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- AWS Cloud Platform experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired

- Ping, LDAP, HashiCorp Integration
- Flyway DB Deployments
- Autosys/Control-M Batch Job platforms
- Experience with Drools Rules management System
