What are the responsibilities and job description for the User Experience Designer position at US Tech Solutions?
- Looking for mid-senior level experience (4-7 years). This role is supporting a High profile customer-facing redesign of the client's Corporate products pages on the client's webpage to highlight years of new modernized products for corporate clients. Potential for contract to extend.
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) could be a bonus as that's the platform the team works in.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with JAWS, NVDA, iOS VoiceOver, and/or Android Talkback. An advanced user of these tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of user experience design best practices, interactive design principles, guidelines, relevant policies, and current web accessibility standards.
- Advanced knowledge of semantic HTML desired.
- Experience in the appropriate use of ARIA markup desired.
- Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
- IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) a plus • Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification a plus.
- Familiarity of the design thinking process and framework, and familiarity with workshops and co-creations desired.
- Experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery.
- Experience working in a cross-channel environment, including desktop/laptop, mobile devices. and brick-and-mortar locations. Internal facing systems experience a plus.
- Experience collaborating with large teams.
- Great communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
