If you have:
- Two (2) years minimum administrative/clerical/buyer experience
- Experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics
- Microsoft Office experience – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Intermediate level or above Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
A typical day may look like this:
- Contacting suppliers to request quotations for material
- Negotiating with suppliers for best pricing and terms
- Follow up with suppliers
- Analysis of quotations to determine ultimate buying decisions
- Development of final quotation files for customer
