If you have:
- Greater than 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools
- Knowledge of or experience with abrasive machining preferred
- Experience with Aerospace high temp alloys
- Understanding of Cutting Tool Geometry
- Understanding of different tooling material and coatings
- CNC programming experience
- Experience in cost saving project development
- Experience in process troubleshooting
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend documented material, including tool drawings and technical information
- Experience with corrective action programs
- Experience interacting with and presenting to high-level customer contacts
- Strong analytic skills (Excel and data analysis)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must have strong technical knowledge of CBN, Ceramic and Diamond cutting applications
- Strong mathematical skills
- Modeling or drawing skills a plus
- Knowledge of the aerospace market a plus
- Ability and desire to travel (75% time spent to travel)
A typical day may include:
- Leading customer engagements to identify project savings in MRO consumables, with a focus on cutting tools and abrasives.
- Managing projects from inception through completion, including tracking progress via a web application, reporting, and presenting results.
- Offering recommendations and application support for MRO consumables, including tooling, PPE, and more.
- Promoting and supporting our cutting tool reconditioning program and other value-added services.
- Improving processes and applications by reviewing objectives and specifications and recommending changes to tooling and machining processes.
- Troubleshooting product application issues and facilitating manufacturer visits to introduce new products to customers.
- Identifying and pursuing new business growth opportunities.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:

- Walking 35%,
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; with occasional lifting up to 70 lbs. For material over 70 lbs., a team lift or mechanical lift is advised.
