What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boilermaker Mechanics - Day Shift position at US Trades?
US Trades is seeking experienced Boilermaker Mechanics for a shutdown at Westlake Chemical in Westlake, LA. The shutdown is scheduled to run about 10 days, working 12 hours per shift. Start date is February 8th.
Scope of work if the flare replacement at a chemical plant, and the repair and replacement over other associated components. All candidates must have experience working within the chemical plants and be familiar with industrial oil and gas equipment. Aside from working with the flare, you would also be assisting with other mechanical repairs. Boilermakers will also be expected to work alongside the Riggers to fly materials, man-baskets and other items. This would involve using tag lines.
Requirements of this position are to have all of the mechanical hand tools that you would use to perform your tasks. You must also have FR clothing. All candidates are required to pass both a DISA Hair Follicle test and a DISA Background Check.
This is a day shift position.
