What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil and Gas Electricians - Apprentice position at US Trades?
US Trades is seeking Apprentice Electricians for Oil and Gas Projects in Dayton, TX starting as soon as February 3. All projects will be working 6-10's or more per week. Jobsites are scheduled to last 2-3 months with additional projects to transfer to.
Scope of work is the installation of oil and gas processing and storage equipment. All candidates must be experienced in the installation of electrical systems, including cable tray, rigid conduit, explosion-proof fittings and various measurement devices. You will also be involved in all wire pulls, assembling devices and assisting in the termination of motors, lighting and devices.
All candidates must have their own FR clothing to access these active oil and gas sites. You must be able to pass DISA urine tests as well. Lastly, you will need all tools that are required to perform your work.
Pay rates are $24.00 to $26.00 per hour and $100.00/day for those employees over 60 miles
