What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rigger/Warehouse Labor position at US Trades?
US Trades is seeking a Construction Laborer/Rigger for long-term work in Pataskala. OH. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, around various pieces of heavy equipment. You must be aware of basic construction site safety policies, and know how to work in a safe manner.
The candidates for this position must be able to climb on/off trailers throughout the day to release chained loads, help to hook them up to cranes and other equipment, then climb on the trailer again to replace the chains.
All candidates must have experience with rigging and hooking up loads to Forklifts and/or Cranes.
When not Rigging, you would be expected to operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse for staging.
You must also be able to lift, carry, place and hold 75-100 pounds on a regular basis. Climbing, walking, kneeling and standing for prolonged periods of time are required.
You will be expected to work 5-6 days per week with shifts running up to 12 hours per day, depending on workload.
When you are not unloading trailers you will be working in the laydown yard to organize materials, inventory parts and perform general maintenance around the yard.
