Job Description
The Production Supervisor directs and coordinates non-union personnel within various departments involving stages of manufacturing and assembly of automotive parts, specifically timing chain system components.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Shift Supervisors are responsible for directing, coordinating, training, coaching, and supervising daily activities of assigned employees.
- Create and monitor efficient flow of material through departments by utilizing manpower and equipment.
- Determine and implement continuous improvement plans for equipment and overall departments.
- Monitor yearly budget for departments ensure goals are met by reducing cost related to production and MRO supplies.
- Foster working relationships with associated departments i.e. Planning, Engineering and Quality.
