Main Responsibilities
- Establish and manage projects that deliver year-over-year savings
- Track and drive CI projects to completion throughout the facility
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training, and workshops to drive cultural change
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues, and create process documentation
- Lead, train, and coach cross-functional teams to implement improvements and embrace lean culture change
- Interface with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, increase safety, and solve ergonomic concerns
- Utilize creativity, innovative approaches, and industry-accepted methodologies to solve complex problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred
- Experience with leading project teams
- Excellent technical skills (mechanical / machining / Special Process)
- Capable of executing Lean in engineering environments (order flow, technical specs, estimating, configuration)
- Ability to effectively manage Lean or Kaizen events and supporting resources
- Strong analytical and coaching skills
