Continuous Improvement Project Manager Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join our team at US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for establishing and leading lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant.

Main Responsibilities

• Establish and manage projects that deliver year-over-year savings
• Track and drive CI projects to completion throughout the facility
• Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training, and workshops to drive cultural change
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing and business issues, and create process documentation
• Lead, train, and coach cross-functional teams to implement improvements and embrace lean culture change
• Interface with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, increase safety, and solve ergonomic concerns
• Utilize creativity, innovative approaches, and industry-accepted methodologies to solve complex problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or 10 years of equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred
• Experience with leading project teams
• Excellent technical skills (mechanical / machining / Special Process)
• Capable of executing Lean in engineering environments (order flow, technical specs, estimating, configuration)
• Ability to effectively manage Lean or Kaizen events and supporting resources
• Strong analytical and coaching skills
