Job Description:
- The maintenance technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
- They'll analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Documentation of maintenance activities and equipment is crucial for tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance and inspections on all plant equipment ensures optimal efficiency and minimizes downtime.
- Maintaining MRO inventory is essential for ensuring the right parts are available when needed.
- Assisting in the installation of new manufacturing equipment, equipment modifications, components, and processes requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Effective communication with management and operators is vital for success in this role.
- Executing all activities in a safe manner and following safety policies and procedures is paramount.
Key Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required; an associate's degree or certificate is preferred.
- Three to ten years of related experience and/or training are necessary for this role.
- Manual dexterity, ability to use various machines, and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos is critical.
- Ability to write simple correspondences and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations is necessary.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are required.
- Working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems and diagrams is beneficial.
- Experience with engineering drawings and geometrical tolerance is advantageous.
